Today my class went to Copenhagen for a school field trip. As usual we took a bus to the Roskilde station, then a train into Copenhagen. Once there, our class walked for a while but then I found myself with a few friends but no teacher and a few of our classmates gone. But, luckily almost everyone here has cell phones so within seconds, my teacher and my friend Mikkel were talking wirelessly. So Mikkel lead us to the Museum where my teacher, Mette, was waiting. I have no idea what the museum was named, but we walked up several flights of stairs and then we were in a room with a ton of Dell computers. Then the "museum guy" talked for a while about Linux (which was one of the only things I understood). But afterwards my friends told me that he had been talking about a group of people called "Medusa's Doughters" who believed that all software should be free. The other group, "hypersoft", (I think this was the name but do not trust me on it) was just a software manufacturer or something. Well, there were some problems which I am still not sure what exactly they were but nevermind. We did a video interview then left.
As we were going back to the bus stop, we passed a McDonalds, an apparently a few people forgot lunch because they went in to get something to eat. I noticed that a big mac or some big hamburger cost 55 danish kroner which is about 11 dollars! This surprised me a lot because in US it would be about 1 dollar. Oh well.
We walked to the train station got on the train and left back for Roskilde. On the bus I got invited to go shopping with Morten and Jens. I think this is good because I am finally being included in things!
Once we got to Roskilde, we were waiting for the bus, when I saw about the weirdest thing in my life! This woman who was about 35-40 years old, walked up to a coin machine that was vending arm tattoos. She pushed it away from the wall then leaned up against the wall where it used to be. She stood like this for about a minute. Then she walked around the machine while examining it thoroughly. After she was done with the inspection, she pulled out a 20 kroner coin (4$), shined it up on her sleeve then thought about putting it in for a long time. Finally she decided to put it in the machine and she cranked the dial and a plastic ball came rolling down the track the onto the slot where she picked it up. She then retraced how the ball had gone down the machine several times. The woman then, with great difficulty, opened the ball with her teeth. She pulled out the tattoo which was a long skin colored sock with some black markings on it. She draped it over her arm then put the garbage in her hand and walked around for a while as if expecting someone to take it. When she realized that no one wanted it, she walked to the garbage and threw everything away, including the tattoo! She walked over to us (because my entire class was now watching) and showed us that her hands were empty. Then, without a word, she walked away.
If that is not one of the weirdest stories you have heard, then I want to know what is.

Hello,
It is the weekend and everything is slowing down.
Yesterday we (mom, dad, and I) went to a thing called Roskilde fest. This was lots of fun. It was like crazy days at morris in all the shops but there was also live music in a little stage where we watched a band that had an oboe, an accordion, a drum, a guitar, a tambarine, an ud, a bazouki, and a singer.
I've been working on a stick video that I just finished and put on youtube. The link is http://youtube.com/watch?v=3wRPse5trcA
I hope you like it!
bye for now.

Off to school
Ahhh... school.
It is extremely weird being in a danish school.
I have no idea how to speak danish yet but ill keep trying.
All the classes are in danish so I just sit around and think about random stuff.
I went to soccer practice...
Everyone is better than me.
Well I've been practicing so maybe next time won't be so bad.
The bike ride to school takes 20 minutes and there a lots of big hills.
This kinda blows but whatever.
Here are some pictures of my trip so far.

In With Vikings
Today we went to a place that used to be a viking fort. They had a huge wall in a circle with houses put in the shape of a square. There were four squares in each quadrant of the circle. There were cuts in the wall to signify N E S and W.
